Data Privacy Policy
Protection of your personal data is a top priority for us. This is why we process your data exclusively in compliance with current legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data privacy disclosure, we inform you about the most important aspects of how your data is processed within the framework of our website.
Contact with us
If you get in contact with us by means of the form provided on this website or by email, we store the data you provide for a period of six months in order to process your request and respond to any follow-up questions you might have. This data will not be shared with anyone else without your expressed permission.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files which are stored on your device with the aid of your browser. They do not cause any damage.
We use cookies to make our offer as user-friendly as possible. Some cookies remain on your device until you delete them. These enable us to recognize your browser on your subsequent visits.
If you do not wish this to happen, you can adjust your browser settings so that it informs you whenever cookies are about to be stored on your device, allowing you to decide whether you wish this to happen on a case-by-case basis.
If you choose to deactivate cookies, this may limit the functionality of our website.
Web Analysis
Our website uses functions provided by the web analysis service Google Analytics (Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on the legal basis of our overriding legitimate interest (analysis of website use). In order to do so, cookies are used that make it possible to conduct an analysis of website use by visitors to the site. The information collected by this means is transmitted to the provider’s server where it is stored.
You can prevent this from happening by changing your browser settings so that cookies are no longer stored.
We have entered into a contract with the provider for the aforementioned purposes of data processing.
Your IP address is logged, though immediately pseudonymized (e.g. by deleting all but the last 8 bits). This means that only approximate localization is possible from that point on.
Your data is processed on the basis of the legal provisions set forth under § 96 par. 3 of the Telecommunications Act (TKG) as well as Art. 6 par. 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
Our goals as required by GDPR (legitimate interest) are improvement of our offer as well as our web presence. Because the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymized.
Detailed information about how user data is handled by Google Analytics can be found in Google’s own data privacy policy at www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/as well as support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.
Server Log File
In order to monitor the technical functionality as well as improve the reliability and security of the Web server, on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest (technical security measures) the following personally identifiable data is stored in a server log file: IP, authenticated user, date, time day, webpages visited, protocols, status code, data volume, referrer, user agent, accessed hostname.
In doing so, the IP addresses are anonymized. The anonymized IP addresses are deleted after 60 days. Information about the authenticated user is anonymized after one day.
Error logs, which maintain a record of erroneously accessed pages, are deleted after seven days. In addition to the error messages, they include the accessing IP address as well as the website that was accessed erroneously.
Your Rights
With respect to the data stored by us, you have fundamental rights to information about that data, to have that data corrected or deleted, to restrict the collection of data, to require that data be transmitted to you in a readily accessible format, as well as to revoke your consent. If you believe that the processing of your data contravenes data privacy laws or that your data privacy rights have been violated in some way, you are encouraged to submit a complaint to us (info@kristall-zell.at) or to the data privacy authorities (Austrian Privacy Office, Wickenburggasse 8, 1080 Wien, dsb@dsb.gv.at).
